Fashion Collaboration

This week I had the chance to shoot a gorgeous mermaid-inspired dress by Elena Aldred down at Bovisands Beach. It was the perfect setting, drawing on the prevalent ocean themes. The design had a really gentle nod to mermaid folklore with its soft and flowing fabric that moved with the wind and water. It really resonated with the ideas I’ve been exploring in my work lately around femininity, nature and fantasy. As always I enjoyed experimenting with producing some traditional fashion imagery mixed with some more fine-art inspired outcomes all within one shoot. It’s always nice when a shoot comes together naturally like this. Nothing too staged, just being able to let the environment and the garment speak for themselves.
